How to Stop Audio Echo When Using TeamViewer with Microsoft Teams

When using TeamViewer at the same time as Microsoft Teams, you may hear an echo of your own voice. This happens because both applications can access your microphone and speakers simultaneously. If audio from one program is picked up again by the microphone and retransmitted through the other, it creates a feedback loop that sounds like an echo.

Here is the setting to stop the echo with Teamviewer and Teams when using the two programs together:

If you’re providing support for someone, and you’re communicating with them through Microsoft Teams, you’ll hear an echo of your voice when talking through Teams. To stop this, change the following setting below.

Go to teamviewer and under “communicate” select “computer sound”
