To get to the host file in windows 10 and 11, you want to go to the following file path:
C: \Windows\Sytem32\drivers\etc
This is the your C drive
Go into the Windows folder
Next go into the system32 folder
Next is the drivers folder
Lastly go into the etc folder. This is where the host file will be located.
