Someone may think a slow typing keyboard may be a software issue. One might think if the keyboard is typing slow, it must be a software issue and not a hardware issue. In some cases this may be true, but in some other cases, this may not be true. In this situation, the cause of a slow typing keyboard was caused by a hole in the keyboard ribbon cable. The hole in the ribbon cable was not obvious and was slightly hiding underneath the flap of the cable.
